Fairly simple arrangements of two favorite hymns, these work beautifully into preludes or as special music for reflection. Written as recorded by Kathryn Cater, harp, and Sandy Norman, Flute on “Morning by Morning” ~ RoseWynde. Minimal modifications for lever harp are noted in the scores.

Nearer, My God to Thee (with “I am Thine, O Lord”)
A quietly rippling accompaniment gives this old hymn an ethereal, mesmerizing quality. After two verses, the harp plays the chorus from “I am Thine, O Lord” as a bridge melody (the lyrics are “Draw me nearer, nearer Precious Lord”). Score is two pages (has repeats).

Rock of Ages
A sweetly gentle arrangement with a short bridge melody harp solo. Calming quality - use this for meditations. Score is two pages (has repeats).
